Clinical Features, Imaging, Laboratory Result, and Severity of COVID-19 Patients in Referral Hospital

BACKGROUND: COVID-19 pandemic became a global health problem due to the high number of cases and no specific treatment. Furthermore, diagnosis was difficult limited publication data diagnostic tests. AIM: The aim this study determine demographics, clinical features, laboratory results, radiological factors related severity at referral hospital. METHODS: A descriptive analytic confirmed patients conducted during March–October 2020. Data were collected from medical records patient symptoms, comorbidities, laboratory, chest X-ray, first illness 24 h RESULTS: There 79 (59%) male 55 (41%) female study. symptoms fever 103 (77%), cough 100 (75%), shortness breath 88 (66%), comorbidities diabetes mellitus 18 (13%), hypertension (18%), heart disease 20 (15%). patient’s profiles lymphopenia 85 (63%) increased C-reactive protein 82 (61%). radiology imaging mostly atypical COVID-19. Factors that influence are age, comorbid diabetes, CONCLUSION: Most with severe old history disease, abnormal results.
